THE TEMPLE LIFE IN JESUS CHRIST
Do you not know that your bodies are temples of the Holy Spirit, who is in you, whom you have received from God?– 1 Corinthians 6:19

STATEMENT OF BELIEF
I believe that God’s Kingdom has come to this world in the ministry of our Lord Jesus Christ. His Kingdom continues to be established in the power of the Holy Spirit. Through the ministry of the love, power, and Name of Jesus Christ, I believe that it is my commission to assist in bringing the Kingdom to earth within my capacity to do so. I am His ambassador calling those out of darkness into His Glorious light. Our identity in Christ was blueprinted at the foundation of the world; through reflecting on scripture and prayer the Holy Spirit quickens our original purpose. The fulness of our identity in Christ will be consummated in the glorious, visible, and triumphant appearing upon His return to the world.
I believe that God is the Eternal Ruler Creator of the universe and the Kingdom of Heaven. All things that exist were made by and through Him, in the heavens and on the earth for His Glory. He is the infinite, unchangeable God, perfect in holiness, wisdom, goodness, justice, mercy, grace, and love; the same yesterday, today, and forever. From past eternity, He exists as the One Living and True God in three persons of one substance equal in power and glory: God the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit.
I believe that God’s Kingdom is everlasting. God created, upholds, and governs all that was created and continues to be created: the heavenly places, the universe, the angelic hosts, the earth, every living thing, and all of humankind. God creates all things in the brilliance of His excellence for His good pleasure.
I believe that God created humankind in His image, male and female, for a purposeful relationship of love, to subdue and govern the earth. Under obedience to satan, Adam and Eve, fell from grace. Disobedience to God initiated creation’s inheritance in corruption and death as the consequence of Adam and Eve’s disobedience.
I believe God established several covenants which reveal His grace in addressing sin by calling a people of His own possession. In the covenant with Abraham, God promised that Abraham would be the “father of many nations.” Abraham was counted righteous through his faith in God. Through God’s covenant with Moses, He delivered His people Israel into the Promised Land flowing with blessing. These covenants are now replaced by the new covenant of love through/with our Lord Jesus Christ.
I believe God completed His covenants with Israel and His prophetic promises of salvation by sending His only Son, Yeshua (which means salvation,) Jesus Christ into the world. Conceived by the Holy Spirit and born of the Virgin Mary, Jesus who was both God and man exhibited the supernatural as a testimony of the Kingdom of Heaven during His sojourn on earth. Jesus who inaugurated God’s Kingdom reign by resisting temptation, was the embodiment of the perfect sacrifice to atone for original and conscious sin defeating death. The culmination of all covenants exist in the everlasting covenant relationship with God through Jesus Christ who is The Covenant.
I believe Jesus proclaimed and confirmed the good news of The Kingdom of Heaven through love, miracles, and mighty deeds: healing the sick, casting out demons, and raising the dead . Jesus died, was raised from the dead, and resurrected to the right hand of the Father in heaven putting principalities and powers under His feet. Jesus established a new covenant relationship in/through Himself, reconciling us to God and His original vision of a relationship in the Garden. Jesus reconstitutes God’s people through His sacrificial death on the cross in obedience to the Father’s will; we are reborn. We are being transformed into the image of Christ.
I believe that the whole world is under the curse of futility and that all people are sinners by nature and choice. All people therefore are under God’s judgment. Through receiving Jesus Christ as savior, we are justified, sanctified, transformed from glory to glory, and adopted into the household of the Father through the work of The Holy Spirit. By this we are released from The Law embracing a reborn life in the Spirit. As a new being born of the Spirit of God, we freely enter God’s Kingdom by faith receiving all promises and blessings given in the Word with an eternal inheritance with all the Saints.
I believe that all who repent of their sins and trust Jesus as Lord and Savior are transformed by the Holy Spirit and are new creations in Jesus Christ. The blessing of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob belongs to us; we are joint heirs with Christ. The dominion of satan is defeated now and forever. Our warfare and ministry is confirming and standing on the victory already won. Through the Power of His Holy Spirit, we confirm the authority of Jesus Christ over the kingdom of darkness by receiving His authority through His Name. The Kingdom of Heaven is filling the earth through the Power of the Holy Spirit manifesting the supernatural realm of the Living God through those who believe.
I believe through His sinless and perfect life, Jesus met the demands of the Law. Jesus redeemed us and fulfilled all the Law and the prophets through His death on the cross. The Law is now written on our hearts. Moreover, I will give you a new heart and put a new spirit within you; and I will remove the heart of stone from your flesh and give you a heart of flesh (Ezekiel 36:26). ( Hebrews 10:16, Jeremiah 31:33). So the law was our guardian until Christ came that we might be justified by faith (Galatians 3:24).
I believe Jesus took God’s judgment for the wages of sin upon Himself becoming sin Himself. Through His death on the cross, Jesus made atonement by His blood for the entire world’s sin. Because of the sacrifice of Himself we receive salvation through faith as a free gift of grace. Jesus the High Priest, who caused the veil of the temple to be rent in two, ending the Law by fulfilling (obeying) every jot and tittle of the Word. We have access into the Holy of Holies by the blood of Jesus Christ to enter into His presence. From the lineage of David and the House of Judah, a Priest forever according to the order of Melchizedeck, Jesus is the eternal Messiah King of Salvation.
I believe that the Holy Spirit was poured out on the church at Pentecost. The Holy Spirit, comforter, advocate; the permanent indwelling presence of God is our teacher, helper, and guide. He equips us for spiritual worship, edification of the Body of Christ, and convicts us of sin bringing us to repentance. We are empowered through the Holy Spirit to do all the works that Jesus did and more including evangelizing the entire world to come to the knowledge of the truth. The same Spirit dwells in us that raised Jesus Christ from the grave, and we are raised with Him now into eternal life, seated with Him in Heaven.
I believe in the present ministry of the Holy Spirit in the exercise of all spiritual gifts; receiving anointing to serve according to individual or corporate callings. Scripture recognizes two ways through which the power of the Holy Spirit is imparted to the Body of Christ. First, in the practice the laying on of hands for healing and the activation of the gifts of the Holy Spirit. Secondly, The Holy Spirit empowers the Body of Christ through individual and corporate worship and prayer. In this aspect, typically, there is no laying on of hands. While seeking the will, purpose, and Glory of God, I value both of these methods of receiving impartations of healing, spiritual gifts, and supernatural power from God in the Name of Jesus.
I believe that the Holy Spirit inspired the human authors of the Holy Scriptures. The Bible is the living, perfect, and infallible Word of God. The Breath of the Spirit permiates the truth and the life in all sixty‑six books of the Old and New Testaments. As the final and absolute authority, Jesus is the embodiment of the Word who was in the beginning. Heaven and earth shall pass away but the Word of God remains forever. The Word of God brings transformation to our lives and revelation in the knowledge of Jesus Christ through daily reflection on scripture. Lechem Ha-Chaim, The Bread of Life, is the life-giving message of love that sustains our spiritual identity, and will be with us forever.
I believe in the moment of the return of Jesus Christ, He will initiate the final defeat of satan and all of the minions and works of darkness. God at this time will actuate the resurrection of the dead, the final judgment, and the New Jerusalem where Jesus will rule and reign with the Saints. Finally, every knee will bow and every tongue will confess that Jesus Christ is Lord over all creation. Glory to the King of Kings deserving all honor and glory, love, gratitude, worship and praise for now and all eternity.
Thank you Father for your son Jesus Christ by whom all things were created–in whom all things consist. I pray for the peace of Jerusalem for the coming of the great and glorious day of the Lord and the unity of the Saints. Father, you are holy and we are holy in your divine purpose and will in living the brilliance of your loving power and might. I love you Father with all my heart, mind, body, and soul with an everlasting love as you love me. I love others with the love that you give me; I love myself because you made me. I bow in Praise and honor to the King forever and ever. Shema Yisrael
