The Genesis Transformation
The earth was formless and void or a waste and emptiness, and darkness was upon the face of the deep [primeval ocean that covered the unformed earth]. The Spirit of God was moving (hovering, brooding) over the face of the waters (Genesis 1:2).
The Genesis transformation is synthesized throughout the Bible in terms of an ongoing creation. Jesus as the Word of God was in the beginning. The Genesis transformation is the activating power of grace from the Living God which transforms me from glory to glory becoming the image of Jesus.
As I change from glory to glory the Genesis transformation occurs in becoming more of my original self in terms of God’s design. The DNA of the Kingdom of God, also makes me a member of God’s household and a worshiper in spirit and in truth. Jesus is the way, the truth, and the life. I am now filled with the Kingdom of heaven–it is within me uniting me with God in one spirit, one faith, and one baptism with the Body of Christ.
The Lord Hovers Over Me in the New Creation
The divine order of renewing the mind, happens through the Heart as it informs my mind with the Mind of Christ. The Hebrew word translated as moved in Genesis 1:2 is rachaph, which means, to hover; as a bird hovering and brooding over its young. This is what happens with the Genesis transformation. I believe the Spirit of the Lord hovers over my soul and spirit through the Word, while he separates them imparting the DNA of the Kingdom. Then He knits my soul and spirit back together quickening my new nature in becoming the image of Christ.
The Hebrew word Ruach HaKodesh means the spirit of the holy one and refers to a saint of God. When I look at the word, Ruach separately, it means spirit. Being filled with the Holy Spirit of God supports the idea of actually being re-born from flesh into spirit. Because I am one with God, and He is Spirit, my true dwelling place is with Jesus, in Jesus and He in me. When I meditate on the Word of God, I sense the Holy Spirit moving over my soul overwhelmed by the Spirit. When I pray without stopping which actually means remaining in His presence, the dictates of the world, the flesh, and the devil have no power over my soul. The dictates of the world, the flesh, and the devil cannot dwell or partner with the realm of Heaven.
My treasure is in heaven. My old man is dead. The enemy is under my feet. It is finished; the Law is replaced by grace. The new law is love, the new covenant is love, and the new life is motivated by love. Can I love on my own? I am the Vine; you are the branches. Whoever lives in Me and I in him bears much (abundant) fruit. However, apart from Me [cut off from vital union with Me] you can do nothing (John 15:5). Once I got it in my heart and mind that I no longer live but Jesus within me–I could enter the eternal Sabbath rest created on the seventh day. In Christ, this rest means that I “let go and let God” in all things. I partner with the essence of Loving Wisdom, the Holy Spirit within my being in all things while remaining in His presence.
The Eternal Word
1 In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. 2 He was in the beginning with God. 3 All things were made through Him, and without Him nothing was made that was made. 4 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. 5 And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not [a]comprehend it.
This is where life begins in the universe; God spoke, and God moved. Something of Heaven is imparted as The Spirit of God moves on the face of waters; something new is birthed in me. Why would not God move on the face of the waters of my soul in this same fashion to quicken something in me? What I mean is that God is all about creation. He created The New Man when the Spirit of God was invited into my heart. The Genesis Transformation happens when God moves over me with all His love, nature, ways, power, and authority. Why would He not continue to do so for all eternity? God moved over my soul when He wrote His laws upon my heart at salvation. He gave me a promise, the first of many, He became my God as He quickened* my Spirit from death to life.
Before Jesus left this earth, He promised the Holy Spirit arrival to be a comfort, guide, and teacher to His followers. The Holy Spirit *quickens (primarily, to make alive; to vivify; to revive or resuscitate, as from death or an inanimate state) my Spirit as a New Creature every moment of the day whether or not I am aware of it. This is my comfort in my affliction: for thy, Word has quickened me (Psalm 119:50). Hebrews 8:10 clearly states that He will be my God and I will be his daughter.
For this is the covenant that I will make with the house of Israel after those days, saith the Lord; I will put my laws into their mind and write them in their hearts: and I will be to them a God, and they shall be to me a people” (Hebrew 8: 10).
By writing His laws on my heart He quickened my soul to have the capacity to follow His leading into an ongoing relationship of promise. Abiding in His presence, I am under the shadow of His wings in His safety and protection in a heavenly realm. With my free will choice to follow Jesus as I practice accepting and receiving His nature, ways, power, and authority as my birth right, I live from Heaven. Living from Heaven is what it means to be of the world but not of it. The mind of Christ allows me to rest in this truth as my standing in heaven. This is the Genesis transformation in new creation life empowering grace within my being. From the realm of Heaven, I abide with Jesus on the earth as a saint in the household of God. By and through grace, my new being aligns with Jesus, the holy and anointed one.
The Word separates the soul and the spirit in order to line my thinking up with the mind of Christ (1 Corinthians 2:16) because the Word is the mind of Christ. The Word is also the Heart of Christ. Our first commandment is to Love God. Love the Lord your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your mind (Mathew 22:37). He renews my mind by coming into alignment with my heart—He transforms my mind for Kingdom thinking which is motivated by love. Staying in the Word is how I learn to develop the mind of Christ and the capacity to love God and my neighbor as myself in Genesis transformation.
Kingdom thinking is not world thinking. The good news is I really do not have to try to be a Kingdom thinker—it is God’s will that everything Christ is was imparted to me at the moment of my salvation in the Genesis transformation by grace. The Word by His Spirit within me reprograms my my heart and mind to respond in Love rather than react from the world, the flesh, or the devil. All that is in The Messiah is, therefore, The New Creation; the old order has passed away to such (2 Corinthians 5:17). The old order is the dictates, thinking, and behaviors of this world—the flesh—the carnal mantle of sin upon me because of the fall of man. Jesus, the Word is continually renewing everything by grace in the Genesis transformation. The old man who walked in selfishness, fear, doubt, worry, and sin is being exchanged for the character, nature, ways, power, and authority of Jesus.
It stands to reason, that if the Creator of the Universe says He will be my God and that as a new creation I am His daughter, the divine order of things is under the mandate of love. I am a beloved daughter of the King of the Universe, and I am changing from glory to glory as He continues to quicken my spirit to align with His love.
New Ears to Hear
When I was baptized by the Holy Spirit I was given new ears to hear His voice in the wilderness of the earth. I am reborn into a new covenant that is beyond my wildest imagination. The ears of my heart tell the ears in my mind information from Heaven where Jesus is seated. I am seated with Jesus. I believe we are predisposed to hear the voice of God at salvation. Our ears along with everything other sense is quickened by the Genesis transformation.
But God, being rich in mercy, because of His great love with which He loved us, 5even when we were dead in our transgressions, made us alive together with Christ (by grace you have been saved), 6and raised us up with Him, and seated us with Him in the heavenly places in Christ Jesus, 7so that in the ages to come He might show the surpassing riches of His grace in kindness toward us in Christ Jesus (Ephesians 4:2-8).
When I hear the revelation of truth, His voice lines up with the Word. When I walk in Kingdom thinking the Shalom–the optimum condition for life to unfold is revealed day by day. The Word invites my mind and heart to depart from the dictates and apathy of this world. The Genesis transformation allows me to be overwhelmed with joy and wonder because, We demolish arguments and every pretension that sets itself up against the knowledge of God, and we take captive every thought to make it obedient to Christ (2 Corinthians 10:5). I cannot take every thought captive in my own strength— but I can submit my will to the will of God by obedience to the Word of God through the power of the Holy Spirit in the Genesis transformation, through grace.
This is the way I believe I see into the spiritual realm of God to recognize reality beyond the knowledge and understanding of the world. Through His Word and through the Kingdom within, I navigate how to do life with and like Jesus in His grace and love. The Genesis transformation happens when The Lord informs my heart in wisdom and understanding, council and might, and knowledge. I hear His voice of truth. The Spirit of the Lord is His presence that never leaves me or forsakes me. The awe of the Lord is my response to His majesty, power, authority, nature, way and presence in my life. I hear His voice. As His beloved daughter, I behold the beauty and song of the Lord. Doesn’t this sound like a rebirth? Doesn’t this sound like being changed from glory to glory in the sense of becoming like Jesus? I have the mind of Christ.
Thank you, Father for making me a new creation. My dwelling place is in Heaven. I hear the voice of the Lord within my heart by the Holy Spirit who lives there with me. The Father invites me to partner with Him to seek His face as Jesus did to do Your will on earth as it is in heaven. Thank you for the Living Word overflowing with Jesus into my heart in the Genesis transformation.
