We Are His Workmanship

The more we let God take us over, the more truly ourselves we become – because He made us. He invented us. He invented all the different people that you and I were intended to be. . .It is when I turn to Christ, when I give up myself to His personality, that I first begin to have a real personality of my own.” ― C.S. Lewis

We are His workmanship

Do you believe that your true purpose and all that you are created to be is going to be lived out in your lifetime? Do you want to change the world but feel paralyzed, inadequate, and overwhelmed with the cares of this world?

Jesus is the savior of the world who makes all things new. He transforms our lives so that the full purpose of our existence manifests in the abundant life God plans for us from the foundation of the world! In our small sphere of influence, He shows us a way to change the world in each and every day of our lives through what I call, “Kingdom thinking.” The Lord takes our trials, tribulations, and obstacles and turns them into love, compassion, and wisdom which impacts others. The good news is we don’t have to “get there” to get there. Because the Lord is all about transforming us through His Word to bring out the purpose of our lives— right now—today. We are exactly where the Lord intends for us to be within our successes and failures, through blessing and tribulation in our journey to become the image of Christ.  The Holy Spirit of God dwells in us and will equip us to make choices that will make a difference in the lives of others each and every day of our lives through Kingdom thinking. As a child of God, we have access through Him to enter the Shalom–” the optimum condition for life to unfold” to joyfully embrace this amazing journey called Life!

I dreamed of being an Anthropologist and explorer like Jacque Cousteau

When I was a young girl, I dreamed of becoming an Anthropologist and explorer like Jacque Cousteau. To have children and keep a house, was far from what that meant. I wanted to travel the vast frontier of the world, study culture, and find ancient civilizations. Above all, I wanted to overcome my fear of life and understand the meaning of it. So began my journey to understand people as well.

Through my walk with the Lord, I can rejoice in how the desires of my heart continue to be fulfilled as the pardurer of life unfolds. The frontier that I have spent the most time exploring is the Word of God. My study of culture culminates with my sincere belief that The Gospel of Jesus Christ should embrace the cultures of others while sharing it in love with others. The ancient civilization I continue to learn about is the nation of Israel: it’s culture, traditions, and language. It is my intention to grow in understanding more about the nature of humankind. Jesus Christ solves many questions regarding the meaning of life and causes me to embrace it with joy and gratitude. This is my passion.

I had a grandmother who prayed for the salvation of my soul.

I had a grandmother who accepted me and illustrated love—more importantly, I had a grandmother who prayed for the salvation of my soul. It is destiny that I became a believer in Jesus Christ. I am learning how God moves in our lives upon a blueprint that He made from the foundation of the world. It is God who knows the desires of our heart because he birthed those desires within our being at the foundation of the world, and it is He who fulfills them in The Shalom of a Kingdom life. My entire past was “deprogrammed” through the Word of God, deliverance through forgiving everyone who wounded or rejected me, and the Power of the Holy Spirit manifesting in my life in huge and incidental ways. Life is my passion isn’t it yours?

. . . .that the God of our Lord Jesus Christ, the Father of glory, may give to you the spirit of wisdom and revelation in the knowledge of Him (Ephesians 1:17).
